I liked that “idea of delayed gratification”. Eating the best part first is always more tempting. Ill try and look around for that book.

Reminds me of a book I once read where the author discussed the idea of delaying gratification. He used the anaology of eating a cake and either eating the best part first or saving it for later. Very similar to the way in which you are saying Robin.
