Although I don't always want to spend time with my boss on off time, I've gone to lunch a few times with they guys, they're impressed I like sushi, and though I've not had to pick up the tab, they talk business. I'm the legal assistant in a law firm/investigative firm so I'm seeing firsthand the shrewd business man that is my boss, but like a sponge I soak it up and aspire to be half as successful as he's been. To them I'm just a chick that's somewhat nice to look at, to me they're a source of much needed information. I agree 100% with you.
